this shit is bananas. I AM ALIVE. call off the search parties.
i have been able to get online a lot more lately seeing as school is
winding down and i am becoming oh so much closer to being a senior,
FINALLY, so i thought i might try again to write in this. but, in all
actuality, nothing too much has been happening lately. tonight was the
oc, two jam-packed hours of seth cohen's witty jargon and a whole lot
of controversy. it really shocks me how much i am absorbed into a
television show. i practically had a heart attack when it was canceled
last week and the last two episodes look insane. i can't wait. so
tomorrow is finally the end of the week and prom is on everyone's
minds. saturday is the big night and i'm actually looking forward to it
more and more as it approaches. usually i'm not too big of a fan of
dances, but seeing as it is the last big event to socialize with a lot
of the seniors, whom i will probably never see again after this year, i
figured i could make the sacrifice. my friend alison's mom is doing my
hair on saturday and then we're all heading out for the hotel around
5:30. it hopefully will be as fun as i anticipate it to be. my, how
this year has flown by.
i will try to keep updating this as much as i can, it's nice to be back.

i have no faith but it is all I want, to be loved and believe in my soul. wow, i actually haven't written in awhile. i've been pretty busy lately with summer ending and school coming around again, so i haven't had as much time to get online. today i woke up around 8 and then showered and headed down with my parents to our insurance agent's office to work some things out with my car insurance, life insurance, etc., which was incredibly boring, but my dad is a big talker, so we were there for roughly an hour longer than need be. but what can you do? after the insurance meeting it was about 11 and we were all hungry, so we stopped at the bob evans in the valley and i had a veggie omelette. it was fantastic. right when i got home from lunch i checked my messages and mrs. knight, the administrator up at school and one cool lady, had left me a message saying that she finally had time to move my classes around the way i wanted them, so i jumped at this since i had been waiting about a week for her to call and went up to the school once again to get my schedule in order. it seems like school had already started, i'm up there almost everyday. haha. anyways, she had to do my friends schedules too because we all wanted to be in some of the same classes, so it took alot longer than anticipated, like 3 hours longer, lol. but i eventually got it all how i want it, even though i did have to change my lunch, which i liked because it was with alot of my friends, but my new lunch is still good because it will be a whole lot less crowded. i got home from getting my schdule changed at about 3 and then my mom and i drove back out to the valley and went to this place called abc trading company, which sells things like unique handbags, costume jewelry, watches, belts, scarves, etc. i had never been before, but had heard good things about it from alot of people, so we finally decided to go. it was huge and had so many things to look at and everything was so darn cheap, i couldn't help myself from buying things. i got 2 watches, 3 changeable wristbands for one of the watches, 3 necklaces, 4 bracelets, 1 wallet, 4 pairs of earrings, and 2 rings and my mom got a belt and 3 bracelets, all for a whopping $75! i was ecstatic. lol. hopefully i'll wear it all though. i have a bad habit of buying things and then not wearing them, whether i forget or just decide i don't like them anymore. bad habit, huh? so after stopping at costco on the way home to get bread and milk, it was about 6:15 and at 6:30 kelly and kaitlyn picked me up and took me out for an early birthday dinner at the olive garden. i had the spaghetti carbonara and it was wonderufl. after dinner we came back to my house and my brother and his friends tried to teach us to skateboard for awhile, but it didn't work out too well and they're just obnoxious, so we decided to go get ice cream for dessert and it was even more delicious. i ate so much today, i could puke. lol. oh, and just a little reminder: I turn 17 in 35 freaking minutes. woot.tomorrow i think i'm just having a family party and going shopping with my mom and brother. next weekend i might do something with all the girls. should be fun. i'm thinking renting a limo and then dinner and sleepover at my house. i just hope everyone can come, they all have such busy schedules. :( well, night everyone. sorry this was such a long one. thanks for reading if you actually took the time too. you're all my heroes. lol.

i think sometimes you forget where the heart is. yesterday was really fun. i have definetly been on a shopping high lately, so i went out shopping with my aunt a little bit yesterday, but we got there like 30 minutes before the mall closed so i'm going to have to go back for more. hah. but reguardless of the shopping, it was a fun night. i hadn't gotten to see my aunt and uncle in almost 2 weeks and that's a pretty long time for me to go without seeing them, since i'm used to seeing them everyday. anyways, we got down there at about 6:30 and had dinner at the k.c. masterpiece barbecue place. i had this really yummy grilled meatloaf. i love meatloaf. hah, i know i'm weird. none of my friends like it, but oh well. by the time we got done eating and we had to wait a while to get out food we didn't have much time to shop, but i was still able to get:
-4 pairs of jeans and 1 tee from old navy
-1 tee from delia's
-1 tank from the gap
-and 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of cargo shorts, and 1 overshirt from hollister for my younger brother, since he was at his "girlfriend's" house and didn't want to come. how sad is it that your little brother gets more action than you? haha.
today i'm going to go see the princess diaries 2 at 11:30 with kaitlyn, kelly, alison, natalie, julie, and aimee. it should be fun, i loved the first one. well, i better go get in the shower now because i still have to run up to the atm before we go and get some cash. i'm broke. hope everyone has an awesome day.

here i am, as perfect as i'm ever gonna be. so this has been a pretty busy weekend for me. yesterday and today i went school apparel shopping with my mom and brother and made quite the haul. i got:
-3 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of socks, 2 hoodies, and 1 pair of hoop earrings from aeropostale.
-3 tees and 1 track jacket from old navy.
-1 overshirt, 2 tees, and 1 pair of sweat type pants from american eagle.
-1 pair of pink and white nike shox from the athlete's foot.
-2 bras from victoria's secret
-1 pair of levi's relaxed fit jeans from the levi's store.
-1 pair of jeans and coach sunglasses from saks.
i was quite happy with what i acquired from this shopping spree. it almost makes me want to go back to school....hah. right. and i didn't even mind shopping with my mom and brother. even though my brother was giving me evil glares all the time because he's really impatient and hates when i try things on in the stores because i take quite awhile. oh well, i figure he can deal. last night my friends kaitlyn, kelly, alison, aimee, and i had what we called an "open fort" night at my house. it was basically where we all brought bed sheets and then just built this huge tent in my basement with the sheets like we used to do when we were little. it was really fun and it surprsingly stayed up the whole night. we watched 13 going on 30, confessions of a teenage drama queen, and at my request, grind, because you can never get enough of adam brody. speaking of which, is going to be on the cover of next month's teen vogue with alexis bledel from gilmore girls. i must have it. i'm hoping that this in some way signifies the miraculous return of dave rygalski to gilmore girls because oh how i miss him. but i highly doubt it. and can anyone else not believe that the oc doesn't come back until november? that is pure crazyness considering most of the other shows come back on in september. i am having adam brody withdrawl. haha.
well, i guess that is pretty much the highlights of my very non-interesting/eventful life. i'm going to go to bed now i think. we stayed up until like 3 last night and got up at 8, so i'm pooped. hope everyone had a good weekend.

i'll turn you on like a stereo. tonight was fun. i went over to kaitlyn's around 6 and kaitlyn, her sister kara, aimee, and i watched the new phil of the future episode and the new disney channel movie "tiger cruise." oh yes we are lame and have no lives. lol. it was actually pretty fun though. we made this guacamole dip and nachos and just vegged (is that a word? haha.) out on her couch for awhile. i hadn't gotten to hang out with aimee for a while, so it was nice to get to talk to her again. we were trying to decide what would be fun to do for my birthday, since it's coming up on the 15th, but we're still thinking. anyone have any fun ideas? i spent the majority of today with my mom and it wasn't all that bad. we went to get me a new desk chair from office max, but it turns out they were out of the one i wanted, so i had to backorder it and it should be here in like a week and a half. i really need a new one though because the one i have right now is literally broken in half. it's horrible. we went out to lunch at a local mexican restaurant called el maguey and it was awesome as always. after that, we headed out to the mall to look at cell phones for my brother since i already have a pretty good one and shoes for me, but they didn't have the color shox i liked, so i decided to hold off. we might be going to the bigger mall tomorrow, so i figure i'll check there and see what ones they have before i have to resort to ordering them online. well, today wasn't too interesting overall and i'm feeling ambitious right now, so i think i will clean my room. it needs it bad. good night.

so now i'm waiting for kaitlyn to pick me up andf head back up to school to help with the freshman oreintation at 1. this shall be exciting. ;)

i fought the law and the law won. today was exhausting. i woke up around 6:30 so that i had time to shower, dry my hair, straighten my hair, brush my teeth, and get dressed before kaitlyn came at 7:45 and let me tell you, i barely made it. my hair dryer kept overheating and i had to wait for it too cool down a bit, i don't use it too often. so that took some extra time, but i ended up getting finished right as she pulled in the driveway. thankfully we got to orientation early and there wasn't a huge mob of people there yet, but it got increasingly bigger as time went by. i had to wait in line for about 25 minutes just to get my pictures taken and after i got mine the wait had gone up to around an hour so i guess i was actually pretty lucky. after pictures i picked up my schedule and since there are always some errors with my classes, i went to the guidance office and changed a few classes around. i don't have my schedule with me right now, so i don't know what order they go in, but my classes for the year include american government honors, american literature honors, spanish 4 honors, algerbra II honors, psychology, sociology, yearbook design, and environmental sciences, so i am pretty happy with all that. i just wish i could have more classes with my friends. after we got done going through our orientations, kaitlyn, kelly, aimee, natalie, and i had to go and work the picture registartion tables and it was absolute chaos. why they didn't give junior and sophomore orientation separate days, i do not know. we were steadily busy from 8 until 12:30 and people were not exactly patient. the lines for the pictures almost backed up all the way to the main entrance though, so i could see why people were upset. we really need to organize these orientations better. tomorrow i have to help with the freshman orientation from 1-4, so that shouldn't be as bad, since it's just the freshman class only. i unfortunately will have to get up early again though, which sucks.
after i got done working at orientation and ate lunch, it was around 2:00, so i sat on watched some tv for awhile until dinner and then kerry came over afterwards. we were incredibly bored the entire time, but it was still fun. we looked at adam brody pictures in her new teen people magazine and my god does he look hotter than ever. we also played rack-o and go fish and she kicked my butt in both of them. i feel so discouraged now. i never lose. lol, especially to kerry. (no offense, haha.) i think i'm going to go to bed now because i am dead tired and i have to wake up early once again tomorrow. have a good day all.

we'll never be severed by the ones who make you feel like you don't belong. today was pretty busy day. i woke up at around 8 and got ready to go to orientation with kerry, since she didn't want to go by herself. lol. however, now i am thinking that this was a bad move because one of the administrators that i am friends with saw me and roped me into helping with the junior/sophomore orientation tomorrow, which is also my own orientation, and the freshman orientation on thursday. so kaitlyn and kelly are also helping with the orientations, since i could ask some friends to do it as well, so it shouldn't be that bad. i'm going in at around 7:45 tomorrow morning to do my own orientation stuff before i have to work one of the welcome tables. hopefully i will get a good schedule this year, i am keeping my fingers crossed. hah. after orientation i went and hung out at kerry's for awhile and we read through our yearbooks, since i got mine early. i have to admit that i do enjoy reading them but i think that some of the stuff that's written in them is the stupidest and cheesiest thing in the world. for example, the theme of this years yearbook was "it's what's on the inside that counts," but the introduction says something along the lines of "we are more than starbucks drinks, cell phones, abercrombie & fitch, and suv's," or something like that. i will not lie that i don't enjoy some of those things, but don't you think that it kind of defeats the whole purpose of the yearbook theme? well, anyways i'll be on yearbook this year, so hopefully i can make an improvement somehow, even if it is small. after kerry's, i went out to lunch with my aunt and then just helped her around her house for awhile. it was a fun time.
after i was done working with my aunt at about 5, i went home and then kelly picked me up and we went to cecil whittaker's pizzaeria for dinner with her family. it was yummy. after a delicious dinner we headed back to her house and kaitlyn and liz came over and we watched trading spouses and summerland. i hadn't seen liz in a long time, so it was so awesome to see her again. i miss her alot since we go to different school's now. it was an amazing night.
well, i better get to bed since i have to get up early again tomorrow. i can't wait. haha.

i cant tell if you're laughing, between each smile there's a tear in your eye. so i am now home from my weekend "outing." i don't necessarily want to call if a vacation because that would imply that i actually liked it. hah. i went up to brooklyn, michigan. (hah, i am now telling everyone i was in brooklyn and they're like what??!) my dad drags us up there every year for the indy car races and it's not that i completely hate it, but it's just not excatly my idea of a "fun" time. it was so hot out and it was hard for me to follow because i usually don't watch racing, atleast not indy car, so i was bored out of my mind half the time. but after the race, went back to the area where our hotel was in and went out to eat and played mini golf, raced go-carts, and spent a few hours in the arcade of one of their local family fun centers. it was pretty good, i kicked everyone's butts in air hockey, so i was pretty proud to claim that title. we went with some family friends and they have a 7-year-old son named evan who is the most knowledgable sports enthusiast i have ever met. he seriously knows everything there is to know about every sport and he's so smart. having a conversation with him is even more fulfilling than with a thirteen year old. he definetly needs to go on jeopardy or something, i'm telling you. lol. overall, it was an okay trip, i knew it was important to my mom because she says we don't spend enough time together as a family, so i did my best to get through it. haha. anyways, we got back at about 5 today and i was more than happy to be out of the car after having to sit in it for 6 1/2 hours straight. i hate riding in the car for so long, i'd literally rather watch paint dry. well, maybe i won't go that far, but even when we watch movies it's boring since i've seen them all a million times. yet, my mom still insists that we watch them every trip. oh well. after i got home i thought i was going to get to relax, but then kelly called me and said that we had a teachers meeting for religion school at 6, so i had to change really quick and head over to the church. i'm not a religious person by any means, but my friend kelly really wanted to do this and needed an aide, so i agreed to do it. i like working with kids and we're teaching 4th grade, so it should be fun. however, i feel pretty bad because i don't even know half of the stuff that we're supposed to be teaching. you'd think after 8 years of religion class that i'd know a thiong or two, but i really don't. however, the principal of the school said it was okay and not too worry about it because i could learn along with them, so it sounds pretty promising. we're teaching 4th grade, so they're not learning things that are too foreign to me. anyways, it should definetly be an interesting experience. well, i better get going now because i have to wake up early and accompany kerry to her orientation since she can't go by herself. that would just be unheard of. hah. ;) good night everyone.

did you ever realize why there are no stars in the sky? today was fun. i woke up at 9 and showered and watched this past tuedsay's episode of summerland for about the 4th time on tape (i relaize i have no life. hah), until megan and heather picked me up at 10:30. we were the first ones into the theater to see "the village", so megan thought it would be fun to see what's behind the big screens that they have and proceeded to jump up on the concrete walkway right infront of the screen and run behing the thing, hitting it. she is surely insane. but it was pretty funny, i always wondered what was behind those things. however, the show was sold out, so the theater quickly began to fill up and we calmed down a bit. the movie was really good and i enjoyed it far more than i thought i would. it was very confusing and it wasn't until the end that i pieced everything together and figured out what all was happening. bryce dallas howard, daughter of director ron howard, was just amazing. it was her first big "on-screen" film role and i can tell you that she will definetly be getting more offers now. she blew me away. "the village" was definetly my favorite of all of M. Night Shyamalan's works, after being very disappointed with "signs." i would definetly go see it again, adrien brody and michael pitt also gave great performances. after the movie, we went back to megan's. however, i am still in shock at how we arrived there unharmed because she is the absolute worst driver ever. and i do mean ever, how she passed her driver's test, i do not know. anyways, she is teaching me how to play a beatles song on the guitar. she's a huge beatles fan, so we had to watch "a hard day's night" on dvd too. she just got it for her birthday on tuesday. i like the beatles too, but she's completely obsessed, it's kind of funny. she also got a new puppy for her birthday, a 4-week old pug named penny and it is adorable. i felt like i was going to break it everytime i picked her up though because she was so small. i am now watching the "that's so raven" marathon on disney channel and boy is it exciting. i'm leaving for michigan tomorrow with my family, so i should probably pack, but i'm trying to avoid that as long as possible. i hate packing, i always feel like i'm forgetting something. oh, and everyone like the new layout? it took me forever to think of a theme for a new one, but i was watching the emperor's club on hbo yesterday, so i thought "why not the always amazing emile hirsch?" i want "the girl next door" to come out on dvd! anyone know the release date? well, i better get to bed seeing as we're leaving at an ungodly hour tomorrow morning. have a great weekend everyone.
